James Masciovecchio / Artistic Director

James Masciovecchio, a 2011 Graduate of Point Park University's Conservatory of the Arts. He has served as Artistic Director since Cave Theatre’s inception, directing many of the company’s major productions. Outside of Cave Theatre, James has also served as a producer and and production manager for the OBIE Award winning The Fire This Time Festival. Notable Productions include Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Divorce Party, Gruesome Playground Injuries & Row after Row. Regional credits include Twelfth Night for Hudson Shakespeare in New Jersey. James is a current member of the SDCF Observership Program.

Alex Etling / Executive Producer

Alex is a Brooklyn-based actor and producer, and a graduate of Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts with a BFA in Acting. Creating and growing an independent theatre company in New York City has been a long-held dream, and Cave Theatre Co. is the joyful realization of it. Acting credits include “Alex” in Douglas Carter Beane’s The Little Dog Laughed, a role for which Alex won Best Featured Actor by OutOnline. Alex was recently seen as “Rosencrantz” in Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead, “Greg” in the World Premiere production of Divorce Party by Lauren Wimmer, as well as “Doug” in Gruesome Playground Injuries by Rajiv Joseph, and “Bennie” in Touch by Toni Press-Coffman, all produced by Cave Theatre Co.

Kiley Caughey / Director of Artistic Operations

Kiley is a Brooklyn-based actress with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She had always dreamed of starting a theatre company and creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring home for artists both young and old. She has been teaching and working with children for over 10 years, and is passionate about sharing theatre with children and enriching communities through the arts. Favorite Cave Theatre Co. credits include "Kayleen" in Gruesome Playground Injuries by Rajiv Joseph, "Leah" in Row after Row by Jessica Dickey, and "Liz” in the World Premiere production of Divorce Party by Lauren Wimmer. Kiley also co-produces and co-hosts a monthly cabaret called "Family Liquid Dinner" in NYC and is a company member of "A Drinking Game NYC" based in Brooklyn. But her favorite gig of all is being Mom to her son Milo and her dog Olive.  www.kileycaughey.com
